Kind of annoying to read, but get over it. It's got 8 razorbacks, that's pretty awesome. Some psychic communion which is nifty, and 6 strike squads which lay down quite a bit of fire power and close combat capability. I do think this army will struggle with land raiders and hordes which is why I don't reccomend it for normal play, but it does work for ETC where you can sort of pick your match up.

This is pretty eh. I like it up unntil we get to the 630 points in speeders. They just aren't survivable to take like that, especially if they are your only tanks. Interesting nonetheless.

Now I can get behind this, some furious charging feel no paining termies rushing full speed at you, with actual support from the rest of the army. I'm a fan.

That's really all I saw that was note worthy from Italy. What do you think?

1 comment:

  1. I'm the Italian GK player.
The list worked pretty well at the ETC. I played a mix of armies like IG, orks, TAU, MSU DE and BT, coming from 4 team that finished the tourney in the top8.
I won al my 6 games, with a result of 104 (max is 120).

The list worked very well, but I think you missed the strategy behind the list (if not, i apologize to you; all my ETC opponent never understood the list strategy anyway).

I deploy just my 2 inquisitors (or a razorback+3 melta guys if there isn't a place to cever them), with servoskulls to protect them from infiltrate and scout move (vendettas, genoraptors, scouts, etc...).
Second turn i make my army arrive on 2+, or keep some units outside and let them come only on 6s. The strikes squads enters the fray in deep strike, and the pressure is terrible for anyone.
Against the sweeden DE, for example, i let enter into play only my mech and keep outside all my PAGK in deep strike, and let the into play anly when i annihilated all his nine venoms.

In the later turns, i just move and took objectives and control the middle of the battlefield.

BTW, the list was designed to destroy IG, because everyone think that GK struggle against IG and we tried to tokk advantage of this. It worked, as i won my 2 games against IG and i never lost to IG in 20 or so games.

I apologize for my bad english BTW, and congratulations for your blog :)
