After a couple of test games against my friends Rich and Tom and their hardcore tournament lists I've discovered 3 things.
1. I suck with eldar. (hopefully do to lack of experience)
2. I personally have found that I love creating large multi assualts and winning combat, killing large swathes of the enemy at once. The howling banshees sort of did that, but they aren't fast since the tank has to stand still to charge, and their multi charge capabilities are very low. So pretty much, this style army isn't my style.
3. Mech Eldar really just don't kill enough. Like in both games I played I don't think I killed more than 20 models...
I don't really know what I'm going to do with the list to make it work, but I'll play around with it and see what I come up with. A major overhaul is in order though.
So now for my latest grey knight list!

I don't think eldar suit yer style unless your willing to make some changes. I also like armies that are über in melee. It used to be that eldar were one of the best assault Arkies back in third edition. It seems like mechdar generally does the best and then there are some good players that can win big with footdar.
