Battle reports coming soon!

Went to SVDM this weekend!  Didn't do nearly as well as expected!  But it happens lol.  I'll start writing up reports tomorrow hopefully.

Until then tell me wha tis fundamentally wrong with this list.  It is considered bad nowadays, but was on the top tables of the GT all weekend.  And, not for a lack of good armies, 1st and 2nd both went to mech guard...  The list played my friend Simon Leen's immolater spam with 11 vehicles and 26 or something meltas in an objective game and tabled it.  For those of you who don't know Simon has been invited to both vegas and the nova invitational.

  1. Quick re-introduction to myself, we met at BFS this summer. I'm Simon's friend, the guy who tagged along to watch your first round match against him. I credit you with planting the first seeds in my head that Daemons can thrive. Now that I'm playing them regularly, my success at the table is unprecedented. Before, I played Chaos Marines and could never get them to work, and I certainly never got them to work like this!

With whom do those Sorcerers live, with the Berzerkers? The Berzerkers should tear apart one unit, only to be exposed in the opponent's shooting phase. I also assume that the Obliterators start on the table, instead of Deep Striking in.

What's fundamentally wrong with that list is that it shouldn't be getting around 5 kill points per turn on average to table an Immo-spam list. That's such an aberration of the dice. Tit for tat with average dice, Witch Hunters should have too many units to handle in this matchup. I'm still waiting for the first-hand account of the tournament.
