Demons take a local RTT

This past weekend I played in a small 14 person Nova style RTT. We had a lot of good competitors there, 3 of them beig in the Nova intatioal, and one other being a participant in it last year.

I got paired up with a Grey knight list with a bunch of acolytes in razors, 3 dreads/ven dreads, 2 dread knights and 10 interceptore. A plague marine based nurgle army with epidemius, and a blanced ork list, with lootas, shootas, nob bikers, mega nobs, and some other stuff.

I think the final incarnation of my list is going to look something like this. I'm very pleased with its performance thus far, and all I need to do is test it against  necrons some more.

    hit and run... the BT will get stuck and stay there... plus grenades.

    Pretty much what I have also found. With the exception of GKs I rarely find the Blood Thirster to be worth it. The BT still kind of sucks at killing fliers even with S8. He is really easy to tie up (which is what hit and run is good for) and other than vector striking does nothing while swooping.

    This list is fairly similar to what I am now running. My biggest question would be why the pyrocasters, just for Look out sir?

    Also how well are the icons working? IN a small squad like that I would wonder about them getting blasted the first turn.

    Is this the list you took second overall at nova with? From watching the streams it looks really close. Would love to see some batreps from nova! And really good job. Im really excited about my deamons again

    Congrats to your good results in BFS! What Tyranid list did you bring to that event, and how did it work out for you? And btw, how do you finish a game in time with Tyranids at 1999 points in 6th ed? I for sure can't do it.
