The 6-7-6 isn't one I've tried yet. If you arrange it properly you can go with each model faced forwards, int 3 rows of 6,7,6. That is as close as possible to a circle as you can acheive. Now that leaves 1 seeker leftover, so that can in theory be placed anywhere on the unit in any way. That let's you get about 2 inches closer to the enemyyermomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14534875309289118150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8299516654490674445.post-53757984004990201092011-05-03T10:23:55.216-07:002011-05-03T10:23:55.216-07:00At this point, I'm just hijacking your post ab...At this point, I'm just hijacking your post about Grey Knights to talk about Daemons, especially now because you're the best person to answer this particular question. :D

I'm looking across my desk at 20 Seekers built on the rounded-off bike bases. These bases aren't circles, so how do you arrange them coming in from Deep Strike? It looks like a grey area in the rules and I can arrange them however I like, so long as they are base-to-base and resemble a circle.Benjaminhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00245451939976361103noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8299516654490674445.post-40451924138547184952011-05-02T00:42:28.886-07:002011-05-02T00:42:28.886-07:00Well I definitely needed to try something differen...Well I definitely needed to try something different, as in our last game Ol' Kairos took it upon himself to fly away prematurely.

I'll have to dig through your blog here and see what other nuggets of wisdom I can sample. I'm definitely up for being a second play-tester, though I think you've got at least 5 years experience over me. :)

I usually play something different with every list. I was so excited for the Seekers, I opened a box at the store and got my first 5 of them put together for the game. For all the excitement, they didn't do anything directly. But I do believe they acted as deterrent enough coupled with a Slaanesh chariot, Bloodcrushers and Skarbrand (in support) to force the Eldar player into retreat and play to contest. It was my first time facing down Fire Warriors though, yikes. Thank Chaos for invulnerable saves.Benjaminhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00245451939976361103noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8299516654490674445.post-75465553483609774832011-05-01T15:46:26.166-07:002011-05-01T15:46:26.166-07:00I'm so happy you're trying my lists, or yo...I'm so happy you're trying my lists, or your own versions of my lists. I'm even more happy you're having success with it. It's a very powerful army, but don't overplay it (I think I did) or it will really take the fun out of the game quickly.yermomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14534875309289118150noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8299516654490674445.post-65901234519084888432011-05-01T11:49:40.157-07:002011-05-01T11:49:40.157-07:00At my LGS yesterday (after picking up 4 Seeker box...At my LGS yesterday (after picking up 4 Seeker boxes and 18 Fiends, thank you store credit!), I threw together a 1500 list inspired by your Skarbrand list a while back. Ended up beating an all-vehicle Eldar list in objectives. Did Skarbrand help? A bit. The opponent had to reconsider Tank Shocking, as it would leave his vehicles too close to assault. We played a variant of Capture & Control that includes an objective in the center of the table, to help prevent the inevitable draw.Benjaminhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00245451939976361103noreply@blogger.com
